If you need to cancel your service before the end of your minimum service period, Early Termination Charges (ETCs) will apply.
ETCs are part of our contract with you.
ETCs are necessary because we have an underlying contract for your service with our network supplier (for example Openreach or CityFibre) and because we spread the up-front costs of installation and equipment like the router we provide you across your minimum service period and need to recover this cost.

How to calculate your Early Termination Charges (ETCs)
- Remaining charges due up to the end of your minimum contractual period
You must return any equipment we have provided upon request, and if you fail to do so or the equipment is damaged, then we will charge you replacement costs for this. We will pay for the return postage.
Example ETC calculation
- You are subscribed to the National UltraBEAM 200 service at £59 inc VAT/month.
- You entered a 12m minimum service period.
- You wish to end the service after 8 months, 4 months before the end of the Minimum Service Period
- You therefore have to pay 4 months @ £59 = £236
- Your total ETC is £236
When is the Early Termination Charge bill due for payment?
Immediately on cessation of your service.
The charge will be collected by Direct Debit, or the credit or debit card we have on file for you.
