Customers who placed a web order with Giganet between 9th March 2020 and 5th May 2020, and set up a Direct Debit mandate will have done so against our "M12 Solutions" Direct Debit Service User Number (SUN).
You will notice this as the Direct Debit mandate on your bank account will show "M12 Solutions" rather than "Giganet".
M 12 Solutions Ltd is the legal company name of Giganet in case you are wondering where that name comes from.
We were advised that it was best practice to set up a completely new Direct Debit SUN under our Giganet trade name, and since 6th May this has been used for all new DD mandates.
However sadly, we cannot transfer mandate across. This is due to BACS rules. So we need to ask affected customers to set up a new replacement DD mandate against the new Giganet Direct Debit SUN.
What affected customers need to do
We will require all affected customers to set up a new & replacement Direct Debit mandate under our Giganet SUN.
For instructions, please read this article.
We will E-mail all affected customers.
Customers experiencing challenges may reply to this E-mail for further advice.
Once you have swapped the Direct Debit, all future payments will be under the new Giganet Direct Debit SUN and mandate. You may cancel your "M12 Solutions" mandate with your bank, or you can request us to do this for you. DO not cancel a mandate with the "Giganet" name.
If you encounter any further difficulties, please contact us.
