We offer a statutory 14 calendar day "cooling off" period for all home broadband orders as well as small businesses who have 10 or fewer employees.
The 14 days commences from the day after you placed your order.
E.g. if you placed your order at 19:00 on 1st of the month, then the cooling off period expires at 23:59 on 15th.
The cooling off period allows you to change you mind, without the need to provide us a reason, and request a cancellation of your order.
Depending on whether the service has activated during the cooling off period, and whether we have shipped a router to you and this is returned to us 'like new', determines your refund amount and/or cancellation charge.
How to request cancellation
You must clearly state that you wish to cancel your order, and do this before the end of the cooling off period. You can either do this by:
- Replying to the Giganet Web Order E-mail ticket, or;
- Complete the form here, specifying "cancellation", and providing details about the cancellation.
After receiving your cancellation notice, we shall cancel your order and/or service if this has already been activated.
You must prepare for safe keeping and preferably in the equipment's original condition before we're able to arrange a courier to collect the router/equipment.
Refund of any installation charges
Please see our fees section for further details on the charged/refund that would apply.
