Giganet offer services to both homes and business, and in some cases this is over the same fibre infrastructure.
However, we do offer varying levels of service, features and pricing between our home and business plans.
Unlike some other providers, our business versions are not the same product just rebadged, we are including key business features and service levels.

What is Traffic Prioritisation?
Once your full-fibre connection routes into the local exchange, it's then 'backhauled' to our core network in London over our wholesale carrier's network.
Traffic prioritisation relates to the priority of your connection over our wholesale carrier's backhaul network.
Elevated priority means that in times of extremely high demand on the backhaul network, your connection will have priority over third party customers (Giganet or other provider). If you had a standard traffic priority in these times, your connection may slow down temporary until the event passes, or our wholesale carrier upgrades their capacity.
Traffic prioritisation is something that is controlled over our wholesale carrier's network - and not something over our network.
Giganet aims to never be the bottleneck for the network devices in our control.
End User Support Hours
This is defined as being any support requested by the end customer.
Where 24x7x365 support is offered, this is only for critical support issues - any change requests or general customer service enquires are to be dealt with during our standard business working hours.
IPv4 Addresses
If you require more than 1 IPv4 address then our business services have this option available. Our home packages do not.
Currently IPv4 addresses are static.
We're investigating rolling out IPv6 addressing support shortly. We hope to have this ready this summer (2020).
Bundled router
We provide a Wi-Fi router with all services.
If you don't require the router, please let us know. However we strongly advise you to have our router even if you plan to use your own, as we can only diagnose and support your connection if you are using our provided router.
There are no set up discounts available if you don't require our router.
More advanced router options
If you are opting for one of our Giganet business services, then we can offer a range of more-advanced routers/firewalls.
We work with Cisco Meraki as well as Ubiquiti UniFi for these requests.
These more-advanced options are priced on request, and the recommendation and specification will depend on your specific requirements. Please get in touch with our sales team.
